Seventy years after the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the world is facing enormous gaps—social, economic, educational—not only between different parts of the world but often within the same geographical areas as well. This paper analyzes the situation of human rights in Italy and the contribution that NGOs make towards achieving full equality.

Abstract
