Starting from Giuseppe Vettori’s book, Effettività fra legge e diritto, the essay addresses some problematic profiles related to the principle of effectiveness of judicial protection as a means of enforcing rights. In particular, attention is drawn to the justification of judicial decisions as a necessary way to control the work of interpreters and to set the legal certainty as a goal to strive for in the context of the Constitutional state.
