The article discusses the adaptation of "A Few Good Men", play staged on Broadway in 1989, and turned into a successful film in 1992, directed by Rob Reiner, with screenplay signed by the same author as the original stage production: Aaron Sorkin. The contribution specifically focuses on the steps that mostly involved Sorkin's rewriting: in the first place, a different turning point in the investigation conducted by the protagonist, in order to adapt it to the visual needs of cinema; in the second place, the increase in the story tension, to make it more responsive to the needs of a spectacular Hollywood movie.
