The essay analyzes the state of studies related to the postcolonial age, still largely to be reconstructed. There is an interesting role that Italy, free from colonial ties lost during the Second World War, plays towards the African continent through political, cultural, religious projections, beyond the former colonial possessions historically linked to the interests of its foreign policy. It is a "Euro-African crossroads", which represents an unprecedented and innovative function in the relations between Europe born from the Treaties of Rome of 1957 and the new independent Africa.

Abstract
The essay analyzes the state of studies related to the postcolonial age, still largely to be reconstructed. There is an interesting role that Italy, free from colonial ties lost during the Second World War, plays towards the African continent through political, cultural, religious projections, beyond the former colonial possessions historically linked to the interests of its foreign policy. It is a "Euro-African crossroads", which represents an unprecedented and innovative function in the relations between Europe born from the Treaties of Rome of 1957 and the new independent Africa.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
