LEGAL FRAMEWORK FOR BUSINESS INVESTMENT IN VIETNAM - REGULATIONS AND PRACTICE

This article discusses the legal framework for business investment in Vietnam today. In reality, the Vietnamese Government has made efforts to create a conducive and stable business environment for businesses and investors over the past period. However, the gap between regulations and reality still has many limitations, posing many risks for related parties. Three areas facing notable limitations and difficulties include: i) Fire prevention and fighting, ii) The credit and stock markets, and iii) Public investment. In addition, the study proposes some legal orientations to improve effectiveness and further perfect the law on investment and business in Vietnam
