I metodi di gestione dei conflitti ambientali

This work examines the issue of environmental conflicts that occur in the case of citizen opposition to infrastructural interventions in a specific area. It concerns the reasons of these conflicts, the solution methods proposed by the social sciences, and, in particular, the solution by a hierarchical authori-ty’s decision, by a third authority’s decision, by voting, or negotiation or de-liberation. Under Italian Law, negotiation and deliberation were made possible by the regulation of public debate provided for in the public contracts code 50/2016. Instead, the regulation of public debate provided for in the public contracts code seems overall inadequate for the purpose of implementing these meth-ods of conflict resolution.
