Movimenti ecclesiali, movimenti studenteschi: il dibattito storiografico

The essay analyses the historiographic debate on movementism that involved many Catholic students between the 1950s and 1960s, intertwining with the progressive emergence of ecclesial movements, which were defined in the climate of the Council and then developed during the pontificate of John Paul II. The author considers the increasing attention that historiography has devoted to these themes, highlighting phases, problematic junctures and contributions that have focused on student movements in the Catholic sphere, on ecclesial movements linked to student movementism and on the mobilisation of Catholic students around 1968.

Il saggio analizza il dibattito storiografico sul movimentismo che tra anni Cinquanta e Sessanta ha coinvolto tanti studenti cattolici, intrecciandosi con la progressiva emersione dei movimenti ecclesiali, che si sono definiti nel clima del Concilio e si sono poi sviluppati durante il pontificato di Giovanni Paolo II. L’autrice considera la crescente attenzione che la storiografia ha dedicato a questi temi, evidenziando fasi, nodi problematici e contributi che si sono concentrati sui movimenti studenteschi di ambito cattolico, sui movimenti ecclesiali collegati al movimentismo studentesco e sulla mobilitazione degli studenti cattolici intorno al Sessantotto.
