We apply a hierarchical clustering technique to organise the occurrences of the lemma forma in Thomas Aquinas’ works. We use two sets of data: the Index Thomisticus (IT), a corpus containing the opera omnia of Thomas Aquinas, and the Index Thomisticus Treebank, a syntactically annotated subset of the IT. Results are evaluated in terms of the ability in correctly classifying a manually labeled subset of occurrences of forma.
