Educational work, in a systemic perspective, implies a reference to family relational networks. In this context, education professionals’ training would not be separated from a deepening of family educational relationships. Knowing families and investigating approaches and methodologies, that can facilitate communication and participation of the family, become crucial elements for educational work. Pedagogical research actively and ethically engages in exploring the complex dynamics of family relationships, outlining theories and practices aimed at directing educational actions. This commitment is essential to promote and protect family relationships, as well as to foster the growth processes of each member. Starting from a thematic analysis of the programs of the courses related to the pedagogy of the family in the Italian universities in the a.a. 2022-2023, the contribution intends to investigate what is stated, with regard to the education professionals’ basic training, with reference to the area of family educational relationships and skills that future education professionals are urged to mature.

Il lavoro educativo con la persona, in prospettiva sistemica, implica un riferimento alle reti relazionali familiari. In questo orizzonte, la formazione dei professionisti dell’educazione non può esulare da un affondo sulle relazioni educative familiari. Conoscere le famiglie e indagare approcci e metodologie che possono agevolare la comunicazione e un’effettiva partecipazione dei componenti del nucleo domestico divengono elementi determinanti per il lavoro educativo. La ricerca pedagogica si ingaggia attivamente ed eticamente nell'esplorare le complesse dinamiche delle relazioni familiari, delineando teorie e pratiche volte a orientare le azioni educative. Questo impegno è fondamentale per promuovere e proteggere le relazioni familiari, nonché per favorire i processi di crescita di ciascun membro del nucleo domestico. A partire da un’analisi tematica dei programmi dei corsi di studio afferenti alla pedagogia della famiglia nelle università italiane nell’ a.a. 2022-2023, il contributo intende indagare quanto dichiarato rispetto alla formazione di base dei professionisti dell’educazione con riferimento all’area delle relazioni educative familiari e delle competenze che i futuri professionisti dell’educazione sono sollecitati a maturare in tale ambito.
