In the international economic crisis scenario, the youth school-to-work transition is difficult and uncertain throughout Europe, particularly in Italy. The EU Strategy identifies some intervention priorities to impove that transition but gives to the member states the responsibility for policy making. For Italy the most delicate issue concerns the very young people and among them those who leave too early the education system. This calls for rethinking the paths of work socialization.

Abstract
In the international economic crisis scenario, the youth school-to-work transition is difficult and uncertain throughout Europe, particularly in Italy. The EU Strategy identifies some intervention priorities to impove that transition but gives to the member states the responsibility for policy making. For Italy the most delicate issue concerns the very young people and among them those who leave too early the education system. This calls for rethinking the paths of work socialization.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
