The strategic decision-making power of Chief Executive Officer makes him more important factor in corporate governance literature. Thus, Chief Executive Officer personality is considered as a key factor that influence his or her decisions. We employ bibliometric analysis to explore the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) personality with reference to corporate governance dynamics in business, business finance and management literature. We review and analyze 136 research articles by using bibliometric analysis techniques via Biblioshiny application with R and VOS viewer. We highlight the influential authors, institutions, countries, and studies. Further, using co- citation and bibliometric coupling analysis we highlight authors citation network, highly cited articles, and clusters within CEO personality literature. We identify three clusters within CEO personality literature: (i) CEO personality traits and firm’s leadership decisions, (ii) CEO personality traits and firm strategic choices and (iii) CEO personality, strategic, and financial decisions. Finally, we present agenda for future studies in the field.

Abstract
Finally, we present agenda for future studies in the field.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
