This paper presents some reflections resulting from a transformative research path. This path has involved secondary school students in re-reading personal and collective experiences, through a work of memory, from which the knowledge of human life arises by learning from life itself. The choice of methodological devices is oriented towards a transformative learning perspective, probing the meaning and ways of acting, in a logic not only individual but also collective.
