A reasoned and trans-disciplinary synthesis about the use of Artificial Intelligence (consisting of highly advanced mathematical and statistical algorithms) in Medicine and Surgery from a technical, applicative, and ethical perspective is proposed. Medicine, empowered by AI that lacks the depth of human consciousness, is called to progress by focusing even more decisively on the Dignity of the Human Person and his True Good.
