This paper is based on a cross-sectional study of a set of drawings by Giuseppe Bossi (1777-1815) and Vincenzo Camuccini (1771-1844) that belong to the Madrazo collection of the Prado Museum, which share provenance with those in the Biblioteca Nacional de España, as well as in private and public collections. The comparative analysis and study focus on José de Madrazo y Agudo's (1781-1859) Neoclassical training during his stay in Rome (1803-19).
