Filippi, Cesana e Ferrigni inviati speciali all’Esposizione Universale di Vienna

Representative of a literary genre that was widespread in the 19th century, are these unpublished chronicles by Filippi, Cesana and Ferrigni as correspondents in Vienna on the occasion of the 1873 World’s Fair. Three completely different outlooks – not only from author to author, but also when the same pen is offered to different newspapers –, united by dense and at the same time entertaining writing; narratives that touch on important issues and facts described with precise observations. Thus we have articles devoted not only to art but also to economics and finance, sociological and philosophical notations, interspersed with humorous moments that testify to an unprecedented side of these three authors.
