The paper compares the biblical text as attested in the Ambrosian Hexateuch with Old Testament passages as quoted in the New Testament. Three stages of textual evidence are examined: the original uncial text (5th cent.), marginal readings from the early middle ages, medieval annotations (11 cent.). Peculiar readings of the uncial text of Deuteronomy show remarkable contacts with the pauline literature and the Epistle to the Hebrews; they have to be regarded as LXX variants textually linked to the biblical text of NT authors.

Abstract
The paper compares the biblical text as attested in the Ambrosian Hexateuch with Old Testament passages as quoted in the New Testament. Three stages of textual evidence are examined: the original uncial text (5th cent.), marginal readings from the early middle ages, medieval annotations (11 cent.). Peculiar readings of the uncial text of Deuteronomy show remarkable contacts with the pauline literature and the Epistle to the Hebrews; they have to be regarded as LXX variants textually linked to the biblical text of NT authors.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
