This special issue introduces the topic of Postdigital Intercultures as an interdisciplinary field of research and intervention in which pedagogical-intercultural and media-educational reflection intertwine. Through a systemic approach, this enables a better understanding of the innovations that are currently emerging in social phenomena and educational processes. Postidigital Intercultures call for a broadening of our traditional “research imaginary” also in the field of pedagogy. The contributions gathered in this special issue provide just as many examples of how this invitation may be expressed, starting from the intertwining of emerging diversities and the transformations of digital environments and languages.
Il fascicolo introduce il tema della Interculture Postdigitali come campo interdisciplinare di ricerca e intervento, in cui si intrecciano la riflessione pedagogico-interculturale e quella mediaeducativa. Attraverso un approccio di tipo sistemico, tale campo di ricerca permette una miglior comprensione delle innovazioni oggi emergenti tanto nei fenomeni sociali quanto nei processi educativi. Le Interculturale Postidigitali ci invitano ad ampliare, anche in ambito pedagogico, il nostro tradizionale immaginario di ricerca. I contributi raccolti nel fascicolo offrono altrettanti esempi di come questo invito può esprimersi a partire dall’intreccio fra le diversità emergenti nei contesti educativi e le trasformazioni negli ambienti e linguaggi digitali.
