The volume is the result of research carried out at the Archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Central State Archive. It is a story of little known, that of the deportation of Ethiopians to Italy in the years 1937-39 at Asinara, in Longobucco, Mercogliano, Ponza, Tivoli, during the fascist repression followed by the attack on the viceroy Graziani in February 1937. In addition to reconstructing the story and placing it in the historical-political context, the volume presents unpublished material that documents, with first-hand sources, the heavy experience of political confinement in those who have been the direct protagonist and victim. It also helps to focus attention on the use of confinement as a recurrent practice not only against the anti-fascist opposition, but also against those who Italian colonialism intended to reduce to submission.

Abstract
It also helps to focus attention on the use of confinement as a recurrent practice not only against the anti-fascist opposition, but also against those who Italian colonialism intended to reduce to submission.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
