The essay focuses on some aspects of the relation between the category of “person” and the current sociological-cultural milieu, with particular regard to the nexus among artificial intelligence, neurosciences and law. Moving from the epistemological-ontological separation “description-qualification” dating back to David Hume and in light of its Husserlian reconceptualization, the attention is paid to the deontic profile and especially to the Kelsenian paradigm as the complete anthisesis to Husserl’s schema. The current scenario dominated by the connection artificial intelligence-neurosciences involves new ontologies, which imply a reconfiguration of the notion of “person” as well as some legal corollaries with also relevant reflexes about the category of “person”, the polarity description-qualification and the rediscovery of classical conceptual paradigms like the Aristotelian one.

Abstract
The essay focuses on some aspects of the relation between the category of “person” and the current sociological-cultural milieu, with particular regard to the nexus among artificial intelligence, neurosciences and law. Moving from the epistemological-ontological separation “description-qualification” dating back to David Hume and in light of its Husserlian reconceptualization, the attention is paid to the deontic profile and especially to the Kelsenian paradigm as the complete anthisesis to Husserl’s schema. The current scenario dominated by the connection artificial intelligence-neurosciences involves new ontologies, which imply a reconfiguration of the notion of “person” as well as some legal corollaries with also relevant reflexes about the category of “person”, the polarity description-qualification and the rediscovery of classical conceptual paradigms like the Aristotelian one.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
