This contribution relates to damage to person within labour relationships. As to the Italian law, this specifically raises the question of the meaning of art. 2087 of the civil Code, by which the employer is obliged to adopt all the means fit to prevent damage to bodily integrity and to moral personality of employees. At the same time this rule, as a part of the discipline regarding employment relationships, makes clear that the relevant liability is set in contract, not in tort as on the contrary normally happens in general private law.
