The extensive review identifies the most significant thematic nuclei of the research that highlights the contribution of the Journal "Vita e Pensiero", therefore of the group of intellectuals of the Catholic University of which the Journal is an expression, and that of the conceptual elaboration and Debates held withmajor cultural and social problems of Italy between the two world wars and the second post-war period, considering the evolution of the relationship with the institutions in the liberal, fascist and democratic periods.

L'ampia recensione identifica i nuclei tematici più significativi della ricerca che mette in luce il contributo della rivista "Vita e Pensiero", e dunque del gruppo di intellettuali dell'Università Cattolica di cui è espressione, all'elaborazione concettuale e ai dibattiti in ordine ai maggiori problemi culturali e sociali dell'Italia fra le due guerre mondiali e il secondo dopoguerra, considerando l'evoluzione del rapporto con le istituzioni nei periodi liberale, fascista e democratico.
