This article recalls the impact of Ciborra's studies while seeking an improvement of Management Information Systems of on line services for corporate finance. The contribution of Ciborra was particularly relevant while evaluating the limited success of IS development methodologies, as the result of weak and inflexible corporate strategy. The focus on corporate culture instead on the methodology was the success factor in the case cited.
