Th17 cells are a new T-cell subtype characterized by the capability of producing IL-17. They are reported to be involved in a wide range of cutaneous immune-mediated conditions and, particularly in this review, we sought to elucidate the Th17 role in the pathogenesis of some common inflammatory diseases including psoriasis, allergic contact dermatitis and atopic dermatitis. Abstract
