Through archival documentation, especially early medieval, the typological and functional elements of rural structures in the Po area are identified; In particular, the curtensi building forms, their transformations and the shapes of the Lombard farms with respect to agricultural and livestock activities are investigated.
Attraverso la documentazione d’archivio, soprattutto altomedievale, si individuano gli elementi tipologici e funzionali delle strutture rurali in area padana; si indagano, in special modo, le forme edilizie curtensi, le loro trasformazioni e le forme delle cascine lombarde rispetto alle attività agricole e dell’allevamento.
