Psychosocial literature on close relationship has long investigated the relation between men andwomen within the family and, specifically, within the couple and the parental relationship. The present work aims at comparing and integrating the findings from Psychosocial research in these areas and the principles of Catholic social teaching with the purpose of a reciprocal enrichment between the two traditions of thought.
