The present paper proposes to research the specific form of collage in the videogame medium and in the artistic practices under the label of "game art". The essay is introduced by an overview of the concept of game art. Then, the paper continues with the identification of the forms of collage in the video game products. Finally, the contribution focuses on an analysis of the artistic forms (including machinima) derived from the video game that are based on this practice. The final goal is to show the connection of these practices with the glitch and with a peculiar use of the videogame past.
