The situation of life places the family in front of continue challenges to overcome. Each family in the course of its history experiences situations of suffering that put a strain on international imbalance. In moments of family crisis, pedagogy can offer adequate educational responses and valid supports aimed at strenghtheining the protagonism and centrality of the family. Prevention action and «deficiency oriented» intervention need to be supplemented by further educational tools useful for strenghtheining family skills to increase the family’s ability to find within itself the strength to overcome moments of imbalance and fragility. Through the contribution of pedagogy, this issue aims to deepen the different forms of intervention in wich family educational support can be articulated. It is aimed at fostering a process of «learned hopefulness», aiming at developing trust and supportino family change, because even in the most difficulty family situation there is the possibilità of reducing problematic aspect and planning new opportunities.
