The current study aimed to carry out a systematic review to map the published research articles on adolescents’ and young adults’ gratitude and its link with parentchild relationship. From the systematic search in two different databases (PsycINFO and Scopus), following the PRISMA guidelines it was possible to select 17 articles which met the inclusion criteria. A data driven thematic analysis was conducted to summarize the main themes emerging from the articles included. The data highlighted strengths and limitations of the study of gratitude in parentchild relationship. Implications of the results and guidelines for future studies are also provided.
