The construction of the grid coding of items is one of the most laborious and delicate process of defining the entire ICG. It was taken on the full corpus of 30 interviews and transcribed literally, following the classical methodology of content analysis (ie type "paper and pencil" without computer support), through three steps: a. the subdivision of each interview in "text units" defined on the basis of the correspondence between the propositional content in the text and the thematic areas under dall'ICG. In other words, each interview was segmented into 28 textual units, one for each application (13 for the first dimension, 9 for the second, 6 for the third); b. the cross-sectional analysis (ie, question by question) of 840 text units as identified in the whole corpus in order to build, starting from the text, a semantic categorization of the applications themselves, or a system of taxonomic classification of the entire interview; c. the identification of the correspondence between taxonomic classification defined from textual data with the typological classification tripartite (bankruptcy, critical, fruitful) defined a priori on the basis of the theoretical model of measurement.
