Human Resource Management practices are often crucial in obtaining organizational success in healthcare. Yet, these should be tied to the organizational strategy. This work analyses a dictionary capable of evaluating competencies of HR, applying it to the primary care scenario. The aim of this case-study is twofold. First, it wants to assess the competencies necessary to cover a key role in such area. Second, it wants to generate evidence on the usefulness of this tool and its desirable level of specificity within the healthcare sector.
