Shareholders e stakeholders

In the managerial practice the use of terms as stakeholder and shareholder is increasingly common. But which is their actual role in the current business model, and which is the most appropriate? To address properly these questions, we should necessarily confront the origin and the very nature of enterprises, their role in our society and their ultimate goal.
