TEEPT of antegrade conduction in AVN and accessory pathway (AP), under autonomic tone and pacing cycle (PCL) variation. Methods: 110 asymptomatic WPW pts (17.5±6.1 yrs). AVN and AP effective refractory periods (ERP) (PCL:600,400,320ms), shortest preexcited RR intervals during AF (SRRaf) and/or pacing (SRRp), inducibility of AV-reentry tachycardia (AVRT) and AF measured at rest (supine/upright) and during effort. Three (4 months apart) TEEPTs. Coefficients of variation (CV) and reproducibility (CR) calculated. Results: the differences among average AVNERP, APERP SRRaf and SRRp of the three studies (St1,St2,St3) were not significant. Average CV and CR were 1.88 ± 0.5% and 13.3±3.3 msec respectively. AF induced in 35.4% at St1, in 35.3% at St2 and in 38% at St3. AVRT induced in 28.% at St1, 30.3% at St2 and in 30% at St3. Difference of SVT inducibility 0.5%. Reproducibility of SVT inducibility in the same patient 48% for AF and 50% for AVRT at St2, and 33.3% for AF and 90% for AVRT at St3. Conclusion: TEEPT of antegrade AVN and of AP EP properties reproducible. Unrivalled to assess autonomic effects on EP parameters
