The present research analyzes baseline data from a longitudinal intervention study that examines the effects of supportive-expressive groups for women with breast cancer and their caregivers. The primary research question is whether coping strategies and interpersonal adjustment of patients predicts their acceptance of and participation in Supportive-Expressive Group Therapy (SEGT).
