Musica come genius loci: da patrimonio immateriale a patrimonio materiale?/Music as genius loci: from intangible heritage to tangible heritage?

This short essay intends to reflect on the Geography / Music / Tourism relationship, with the aim of investigating the link between music and territory. That is, if and how music can - thanks to the various material / tangible components inherent in a territory - transform its immateriality into something tangible that involves any tourism phenomenon and / or tourist movement. How does music tourism relate to places? Does it also use them transforming them?

Questo breve saggio intende riflettere sulla relazione Geografia/Musica/Turismo, con lo scopo di indagare il nesso tra musica e territorio. Ovvero, se e come può la musica – grazie alle varie componenti materiali/tangibili insite in un territorio – trasformare la propria immaterialità in qualcosa di tangibile che coinvolga un qualsivoglia fenomeno e/o movimento turistico. In che modo il turismo musicale si relaziona con i luoghi? Ne usufruisce anche trasformandoli?
