Abstract
The insurance market is currently undergoing a phase of rapid evolution cha - racterized by the radical change in business models and the review of the skills required in this sector that, for a long time, was considered static and only margi- nally affected by innovation. The Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) regulates the distribution activity by deeply innovating its dynamics, thus playing a crucial role in outlining the structure and future prospects of the insurance market and of all its players. After a brief analysis of the main factors that led to a redefinition of the work of the players (technological innovation, new lifestyles and society models, weakening of the welfare system), the paper aims to provide an overview on the world of insurance brokerage as redesigned by IDD and, consequently, to offer some considerations on the future of the insurance sector in our country.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
