In Italy, specific regional health surveillance programmes have been funded by Friuli Venezia Giulia, Tuscany, Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Umbria, Veneto, Campania, and Sardinia, which are only 8 out of 20 Italian Regions. The other regions have organized only one information desk or nothing at all.The evident disparity in the treatment of workers in different parts of the Country should be overcome by a statement of the Permanent State-Regions Committee, which in February 2018 proposed a National Plan for mandatory surveillance of all past-exposed workers.

Abstract
In Italy, specific regional health surveillance programmes have been funded by Friuli Venezia Giulia, Tuscany, Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Umbria, Veneto, Campania, and Sardinia, which are only 8 out of 20 Italian Regions. The other regions have organized only one information desk or nothing at all.The evident disparity in the treatment of workers in different parts of the Country should be overcome by a statement of the Permanent State-Regions Committee, which in February 2018 proposed a National Plan for mandatory surveillance of all past-exposed workers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
