Abstract
The article reconsiders Strascino's dramaturgical work, starting from the critical edition of his works edited by Marzia Pieri. The Sienese author-actor reveals his entrepreneurial ability to publish his works through both acting and the press, and in exploiting the cities of greater theatrical vivacity (first Rome and then Venice) both for his performances and for their typographic divulgation in written form. Finally, some similarities of acting 'cliché' have been found with the work of Angelo Beolco, known as RuzanteI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
