In collaboration with a Milanese museum and an Educational agency, advanced language students compiled corpora to investigate the language of art, of museums and modernism. Corpora were made from written texts (websites of museums) and spoken texts (transcribed videos about art). The analyses performed will help students prepare CLIL materials for the museum which intends to involve the students in offering guided tours around Modernist works in the museum and combine the tour with CLIL-like exercises, to be used in the museum and afterwards in class.

Abstract
In collaboration with a Milanese museum and an Educational agency, advanced language students compiled corpora to investigate the language of art, of museums and modernism. Corpora were made from written texts (websites of museums) and spoken texts (transcribed videos about art). The analyses performed will help students prepare CLIL materials for the museum which intends to involve the students in offering guided tours around Modernist works in the museum and combine the tour with CLIL-like exercises, to be used in the museum and afterwards in class.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
