Abstract: in order to verify the effect on vine yield performances of leaves treatments conduced with a solution with microorganisms (bacteria photossynthetic and lactic bacteria, leaven) prepared in addiction with some vegetal and mineral substances (farina de rocca) (EM Bio-nrg s.r.l.), of which bio - stimulation effects have already been described, this trial confronts common and new spray treatments. In this experiment the solution EM was tested, from 2007 to 2009, in comparison with other leaves treatment based on cover and penetrating fungicides commonly used. The vines treated with the microorganisms-vegetal-mineral mixture (from 7 to 9 times during the vegetative season) have constantly shown a significant increase of leaves Fe, photosynthesis (SPAD measures) and productivity (yield/vine and quantity of sugar/vine). The reduction of downy mildew attack, also appreciable, was unsatisfactory when employing only the EM solution, but became satisfactory with the addition of low doses of copper to this solution.
