The article aims to set for the first time a chronology of the abbots ruling over the small abbey of S. Maria delle Grazie in Castelnuovo Fogliani, a rural village between the cities of Parma and Piacenza, as the outcome of a research that also allowed to locate some new sources, here briefly described, useful to better investigate the history of the monastery.
