This article discusses the primary results of a European project dedicated to sharing – among partner of diff erent countries (Austria, Belgium, United Kingdom, Turkey, Portugal and Italy) – practices about Work Based Learning (WBL) in the vocational training systems. The project dedicated a specifi c attention to the contribution of WBL to support inclusion strategies for disadvantaged people. Among the outputs of the project, the article presents a WBL trainer skills profi le and the results of a training session – adopting eff ective methodologies and visits to experiences – for trainers engaged in WBL activities. At the end of the article, some advice and suggestions about WBL perspective in training activities are explained.
