Human history has always flowed through a long and discontinuous path that saw the alternation of phases of celebration of the body and periods when the spiritual aspects of human existence diminished and the bodily dimension was denied. In this sense, such dimension was enclosed within a dualistic approach characterized by a clear separation between mind and body until the recent birth of a new paradigm, Embodied Cognition. This theory showed and emphasized the close relationship between movement, learning and cognitive functions, giving the body a fundamental role in didactic and educational paths. The embedded knowledge considers the dependence of the cognitive processes on the sensomotory system as given. The present research tried to fill the lack of studies focused on the application of the embodied didactics to a wider scenario that could involve all the aspects of the child’s activity through games and recreational practice during physical education lessons. In addition, the emergency situation just experienced led to an analysis of distance teaching and its impact on learning and motor activity. It showed how, during such a period, motor habits have changed, leading, inter alia, to a negative effect on children’s performance.

Abstract
It showed how, during such a period, motor habits have changed, leading, inter alia, to a negative effect on children’s performance.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
