The chapter interprets the evidence stemming from the case studies contained in the book. It shows the feasibility and plausibility, especially in the current scenario of economic and financial crisis, of business models that revolve directly around strategies oriented to sustainability (environmental, human and social, with reference to production and distribution of economic value). In particular, it suggests the possibility of generating economic value through the creation of social value and thus of making the principles of sustainability pillars of organizations' market positioning and competitiveness
