The new Archive of Bibliographic and Documentary Sources on the Ancient Near East is born from the personal library of Msgr. Francesco Vattioni, which his Family donated in his memory to Department of Historical and Philological Sciences of the Catholic University. The inauguration ceremony took place on March 10, 2016 in the presence of the Bishop, Msgr. Luciano Monari, a happy occasion for revisiting the scientific work of Vattioni, in the 20th anniversary of his death.
