Abstract
The text is grafted into a broader research “The cathedrals of Lombardy. The liturgical adaptation of the mother churches in the ecclesiastical region of Lombardy” aimed to reconstruct the full picture of the interventions put in place to innovate the celebrating space of the most significant buildings for Christian worship, the cathedrals in Lombardy on the threshold of fifty years since the liturgical reform by Vatican Council II. The research, sponsored by the National Office for the ecclesiastical cultural heritage of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI), deals with the entry of contemporary works specially commissioned for the poles of the ancient liturgical cathedrals thinking over the choices made, the problems encountered, and their relationship to architectural space and in the dialogue initiated between tradition and innovation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
