The book examines the studies of the eminent philologist and historian of Italian language Franca Brambilla Ageno (1913-1995) 100 years after her birth. Attention is devoted to her critical editions of Dante’s and Boccaccio’s literary works as well as to her annotated books, now in the Library of the Università Cattolica in Brescia. New items are added to her bibliography and a previously unpublished presentation by Domenico De Robertis of her edition of Dante’s ‘Convivio’ finds place in the Appendix.
