The present work is intended as a contribution to presenting Leontief's input-output analysis and Sraffa's production model in detail. The problem of choice of technique is inserted and conclusions are drawn for the traditional theory of capital. The relations are explored with Marx's transformation problem and linear programming. An introduction to dynamic production models is also provided.
