The 3IP (Iconographic Inventory on Professional Interests – Inventario Iconografico sugli Interessi Professionali) is a self-report questionnaire on professional interests which, mainly using the drawing as a stimulus, is well suited to be used with youngster and foreigners characterized by limited language skills. Subjects are asked to indicate how they feel attracted by 65 different professions and allows to assess the interest on 19 professional areas: Agriculture, Hoteliers, Arts, Automotive, Literature, Economy, Building, Aesthetics, Forensic, Computer, Linguistic, Military, Music, Health, Science, Social, Technology, Transport, Tourism. The instrument is suitable for two main types of use: 1) for research, especially that related to the dynamics of development of the professional interests of children attending primary schools and secondary schools; 2) to support guidance activities aimed at discovering the word of professions and the choice of secondary school degree.
