The paper aims to analyze the legal framework for the protection of the religious freedom of citizensn at the time of burial, through the study of unilateral and bilateral state regulations, and the study of municipalities rules that have the expertise in the cemetery and in the field of police mortuary. The study seeks to explore the particular means of protecting religious freedom of religious minorities in the light of the rules of burial of the individual belonging to religions other than Catholic.
