The book examines the obligation from the point of view of its object and its complex structure, in which co-exist, alongside the main duty to perform, other ancillary obligations. From this perspective are critically analyzed the main issues of interpretation as well as the solutions offered by caselaw and scholars concerning the genetic and functional aspects of the legal bond. In particular the book analyzes the sources of the obligation, the differences between civil and natural obligations, the requirements of performance, the responsibility for non-fulfilment, the events extinguishing the obligation that do not meet the creditor's interest, the assignment of debt and the novation of the liable person.

Abstract
The book examines the obligation from the point of view of its object and its complex structure, in which co-exist, alongside the main duty to perform, other ancillary obligations. From this perspective are critically analyzed the main issues of interpretation as well as the solutions offered by caselaw and scholars concerning the genetic and functional aspects of the legal bond. In particular the book analyzes the sources of the obligation, the differences between civil and natural obligations, the requirements of performance, the responsibility for non-fulfilment, the events extinguishing the obligation that do not meet the creditor's interest, the assignment of debt and the novation of the liable person.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
